Ancestral Forms #I
Limited Edition — Cameroon. From the project ‘Salvation’. Series ‘Gorilla Country’.
Human form emerged over millions of years of evolution from a common ancestor shared with gorillas and chimpanzees, the divergence likely coincided with significant environmental changes, such as the shrinking of tropical forests during the Miocene.
While gorillas adapted to deep forest environments through specialized diets and quadrupedal knuckle-walking, human ancestors evolved in open grasslands, developing bipedalism, increased brain size, and technology.
