Adam Oswell
Photographer & Producer
Adam is an award-winning Australian photographer specializing in wildlife conservation and protection issues. His work has appeared in a wide range of international media including, Geographical, Time Magazine, Science, The Guardian and National Geographic. Adam is producer of the book Black Market: Inside the Endangered Species Trade in Asia (2005) and is a contributing photographer to the WWF-Canon Photo Database and the award winning books ‘Photographers Against Wildlife Crime’ and ‘HIDDEN-Animals in the Anthropocene’.
His work has been exhibited at the Leica Gallery London, f3–Freiraum für Fotografie Berlin, Visa pour l’Image festival Perpignan, the World Economic Forum Davos and the Natural History Museum London. In 2021 Adam was awarded Wildlife Photographer of the Year for photojournalism.
Ben Davies
Author
Ben is a Bangkok-based journalist, author and photographer who has spent 25 years focusing on critical environmental issues, wildlife, politics and business. He is the acclaimed author of Black Market: Inside the Endangered Species Trade in Asia (2005). He also wrote the introduction to Trading to Extinction (2014). He has authored several other books including Laos: A Journey Beyond the Mekong, Living with Spirits: A Journey into the Heart of Thailand and Vanishing Bangkok: The Changing Face of the City.
His work has appeared in numerous publications worldwide including National Geographic, Time Magazine, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal and the BBC. He is a contributing photographer for Getty Images.

We are extremely grateful and fortunate to have been able to work with Jane over the past 20 years on various critical conservation projects. Jane was an inspirational leader and global icon who influenced and inspired millions to value nature and the incredible beauty and diversity that underwrites our existence.
Salvation is a project Jane was passionate about. In 2019, the World Bank estimated the cost of wildlife crime to be in the range of USD one to two trillion dollars per annum — a staggering sum that represents a vast network of suffering and destruction that is diminishing our world at a rate faster than earth's ecosystems can sustain.
Jane's support and guidance has been crucial in achieving the knowledge and access we have needed to tell this essential story. Her collaboration is a call to arms and serves to inspire and empower a new generation of conservation advocacy and activism.
The Jane Goodall Institute continues to facilitate access to restricted conservation regions in Africa and is supporting the ongoing promotion of the project through its global networks.

Indigenous cultures in many parts of the world play a crucial role in conserving wildlife and helping to address the ever-diminishing space between humans and nature.
Sebastião's landmark productions of Genesis and Amazonia, and his remarkable work on the human condition, are powerful examples of both our harmonious, intertwined and mutually dependent relationship with nature, and our relentless destruction and disconnection from what remains.
We are deeply honoured to collaborate with Sebastião and Lélia on this important body of work. Their support and collaboration convey the critical importance of wildlife conservation and the vital role of indigenous cultures as we chart a course into our collective future.
